Ashley Lake is nestled in an elevated basin at an elevation of 5,579 feet only a few miles west of Kalispell, MT as the bird flies, but by road about 13 miles off of Hwy 2 on Ashley Lake Rd. The lake is about 2,850 acres in surface area with an average depth of 89 feet and a maximum depth of 225 feet. The forested shoreline property of Ashley Lake is dotted with cabins and upscale homes and would be considered mostly developed real estate. There is generally only a handful of homes or property for sale at any one time. At certain times of the day the Ashley Lake glimmers with an emerald colored hue that is quite beautiful.
