Bitterroot Lake is an easy half hour drive west from Kalispell, Montana off Hwy 2 and up paved Pleasant Valley Rd. Bitterroot lake is about 2,969 acres in surface area with an average depth of 114 feet at an elevation of 3,998 feet. The gentle shoreline of Bitterroot Lake property is dotted with cabins and newer upscale lake homes and would be considered relatively developed real estate. There is generally only a handful of homes or property for sale at any one time. Lake lots can vary from 100' in frontage on up although in the last decade, larger parcels were developed into lake lots, some 5 acres in size with over 200 feet of frontage.
